Shaw Lane Flowers uses the finest quality flowers to create bespoke designs for your special event and we buy all our flowers from a reliable, knowledgeable source.

We offer a relaxed, personal one-to-one consultation at Woodend where we can chat in an informal atmosphere about ideas and offer advice on how to turn dreams into reality.  At all times you have the assurance of liaising directly with the person responsible for creating your floral arrangements.

Planning a wedding is a very busy time that often has to fit in around work and other commitments so we try to be flexible by offering a first meeting –  our ‘no obligation’ consultation –  at a time to suit.  This can be during the day, evening or weekend.  At this stage there is no obligation to book your wedding flowers with us.

We are happy to discuss your flowers whatever stage your planning has reached.  At the consultation we will go through all aspects. To request your complimentary appointment please contact us

Following the consultation we will send you a detailed itemised proposal based on the flowers, colours and styles we have discussed and, if you are happy with the quotation, we’ll then confirm your booking in writing and ask for a £75.00 deposit to be deducted from the final bill.  On confirming your date, follow-up meetings can be scheduled as required.

Tips and Advice

Please bear in mind that if your wedding or special occasion falls at one of the festive times: for example Christmas, Easter, Valentine’s and Mothers Day or any of the bank holidays costs are likely to be higher due to increased prices from our suppliers.

When attending a consultation it is always helpful to bring with you samples of any fabrics or colours that you like together with any photos or pictures of flowers and designs you have seen.  It also helps to have an idea of your approximate budget range. Please take a look at our guide prices if you are still formulating your budget, but don’t be too concerned as we’ll provide lots of information at our consultation.

Saturdays in summer are always very popular so if you are happy with your quotation we would advise you to make a firm booking as early as possible.  If you wish to make alterations to your  flower selection once you have booked a firm date we are happy to do so and an updated quotation will be sent to you.  We require full payment 3 weeks prior to the event either by cheque, cash or bank transfer (we regret we are not able to accept credit cards).
