Danielle & Greg’s Wedding

Danielle and Greg choose a gorgeous colour palette of reds, deep oranges and bronze. For Danielle’s bouquet a mix of red roses –
Naomi, and Red Eagle, orange roses Patz and Espana, lovely Mango calla lilies and touches of hypericum berries and carmanthus.
Pearl pins in the roses and pale cream silk to finish.

Danielle and Greg’s bridesmaids carried similar smaller hand tied bouquets.

Charity Awards Night at Branston Golf Club

Last Friday evening, one of the networking groups I belong to, Love LBG, held a Charity Awards Night at Branston Golf Club.  The colour theme for the evening was black and gold and I was delighted to do the flowers for the table arrangements.
When there are 10 or more tables at a function I think it is always good to have two different designs for interest, and the photos of the glass lily and sundae vases waiting to go to Branston illustrate this idea.
It was a great evening and over £3000. was raised to be split between Burton YMCA and Me and Dee.

Log Pedestals for my local Church

These are two complimentary small log pedestals which I arranged for my local church. The theme was ‘Stars’ and I used glittered allium heads, folded aspidistra leaves, poppies and palms to which I added lovely white lilies. These could easily form the basis for wedding designs either using much smaller logs for the table and/or bigger logs for a full size pedestal.

Early Bird catches the Wedding Rose

Early start at the market this morning to collect flowers for a golden wedding celebration.

Whilst there, I spotted these beautiful roses, aptly named ‘Wedding Rose’ which I will definitely be using for weddings in the future. Would look lovely mixed with silvery foliage….

A busy month!

All packed up and ready to go.  I thought you would like to see some of the arrangements sitting ready in my workshop for loading and taking to Somerford Hall last week for Caitlin and Alex’s wedding.

A long low arrangement for the Registrar’s table which was then moved to the traditional top table for the wedding reception and a hanging arrangement which we attached to the bottom of the grand staircase.

Caitlin chose the beautiful white rose Avalanch together with lizzianthus, freesias germinia, gypsophila and the lime green chrysanthemum.
